A unique number that identifies a connection agreement. Automatically assigned by NemKonto Support. 

Form that initiates the connection process between NemKonto and the private sector account broker.

An electronic message that contains a CPR, SE, P or CVR number that allows the payment information to be completed with a NemKonto. Other fields in the payment message are defined in the approved OIOXML for the NemKonto system.

Payment messages (account lookups) gathered in a bundle from the private sector account broker with a maximum size of 10.000 account lookups. The bundle can contain account lookups from one or more private sector payers.

Short for Common Access Point / Internet Protocol. CAP/IP is used to secure the communication between KMD and the customers via dedicated circuits. Further information about KMD CAP/IP can be obtained by contacting the KMD Netbroker department at +45 44 60 10 00.

Agency under the Ministry of Digital Affairs.The agency is the system and data owner of the NemKonto system.

Message Queue (MQ) is a system for transferring asynchronous messages. This means that the sender can send payment messages independently of the recipient’s (KMD) ability to process the payment message right away. The payment message is queued until KMD’s system is ready to process it and return a completed payment message. In practice, however, this process is so quick that the connection is experienced as direct.

When a private sector payer looks up the payment recipient's account information in the NemKonto system.

A system containing NemKonto and payment-specifik account information for citizens (including non-Danish citizens) and companies.The system is used by both private and public sector payers and enables that private and public sector payers can distribute money o citizens and companies by only knowing their CPR, CVR, SE or P number.

OIO stands for Offentlig Information Online (Public Information Online) and XML stands for eXtensible Markup Language. OIOXML is the technical format used to exchange information in the NemKonto system.

Private Companies’ Use of the NemKonto System

A private sector payer is a company, which makes account lookups in the NemKonto system in order to receive account information used for payments.

A private sector payer can be an individual person or a legal entity that has its residence or its registered domicile in Denmark, another country within the EU/EAU or the Faraoe Islands.

However, this does not apply for legal entities, which are public sector payers persuant to §8 in the NemKonto Act. The term legal entity covers among other things, public limited companies (A/S), private limited companies (ApS), sole proprietorships, associations and foundations.

P number is an abbreviation for Production Number, which is the registration in the Central Business Register (CVR) of the company’s different geographical locations (production units).

Unique number generated by the private sector payer and attached to the payment messages they send. Also included in the completed payment message sent from NemKonto for private sector account brokers.

The number identifies the payment that the NemKonto request needs in order to complete the account lookup. This identification must be possible when the Danish Agency for Digital Government controls the use of the NemKonto system. The number must be unique within a period of the current year and five years back.

To enable the private sector account broker's systems to exchange information with the NemKonto system, the systems first need to adapt to each other to ensure accordance on which data should be exchanged between the systems as well as the content and format of the data. Data is exchanged in the interface.

SE is an abbreviation for Stamregister over Erhvervsdrivende (Main Register of Business Owners). The SE number is the company’s registration of administrative units with the Danish Tax Agency.

Describes the connection to the NemKonto system for private sector payers that is required to ensure authentication and authorisation for the network infrastructure as well as the technical information for each system to be used when setting up the relevant data transmission software. The agreement is made between a private sector account broker and KMD.

A connection agreement is a written agreement between the private sector account broker and KMD which forms the basis for the connection to NemKonto for private sector payers and thus the right to make account lookups in the NemKonto system. The connection agreement regulates the administrative relationship between the private sector account broker and KMD.

The terms a private sector account broker must accept before using the NemKonto system.
