If you have a payment-specific account, it may automatically become your new NemKonto, if you delete your regular NemKonto. If this happens, you will need to activate your NemKonto, before you can use it to receive payments.
If you do not want to have your payment-specific account changed to be your NemKonto, you can lock your payment-specific account. A locked payment-specific account cannot be changed and therefore cannot become a NemKonto. If you wish to avoid having a payment-specific account become your NemKonto upon deletion of your current NemKonto, you should check in advance whether the payment-specific account is locked for changes.
You can view details about a payment-specific account by selecting the menu item “Payment-Specific Accounts” when logged into the self-service (this menu item will only be visible if you have one or more payment-specific accounts). If a payment-specific account becomes your NemKonto upon deletion of your existing NemKonto, and you do not want it to be your NemKonto, you can delete it again.
