If you have a payment-specific account, it may automatically become your new NemKonto, if you delete your regular NemKonto. This will occur only if the payment-specific account is not locked for account changes.
A locked account cannot be changed and therefore cannot become a NemKonto. If you wish to avoid having a payment-specific account become your NemKonto upon deletion of your current NemKonto, you should check in advance whether the payment-specific account is locked for changes.
You can view details about a payment-specific account by selecting the menu item “Payment-Specific Accounts” when logged into the self-service portal (this menu item will only be visible if you have one or more payment-specific accounts).
If a payment-specific account becomes your NemKonto upon deletion of your existing NemKonto, and you do not want it to serve as your NemKonto, you can delete it again.
