Register access for citizens

You can access the information that the NemKonto register holds about you in the following two ways:

1. Sign in to NemKontos self-service with MitID.
2. If you do not have access to MitID, you can order a register access via the Agency for Digital Government (Digitaliseringsstyrelsen). 

You can use the self-service to gain access to your NemKonto information.

1. Click the blue "log-on" button in the top right corner of the website.
2. Select "Log on as a citizen."
3. Log in using your personal MitID.

After successful login, you can get access to the personal information that the NemKonto register holds about you.

There are no formal requirements for your inquiry. Therefore, you can contact us by phone, by letter, via Digital Post, or through our contact form. However, correct identification is required, so we must ask for a copy of valid ID in order to process the request for register access.

If you request an extract from the register from the Agency for Digital Government, you must go through the following steps:

1. Download and complete the form.
2. Submit the form and a copy of valid ID securely in one of the following ways:

You can object to the Agency for Digital Government if you think that your information is incorrect. Then the Agency for Digital Government will process the case and send its decision to you. The objection must be in writing, include your CPR number and a copy of valid ID and must be sent to:

However, if your objection concerns a payment-specific account, to which a particular public authority makes payments, you have to send the objection to the relevant public authority and not the Agency for Digital Government. The public authority will then process the case and send its decision to you.

If you are unhappy with the decision in you case, and you wish to lodge a complaint, you can do so by contacting the Danish Data Protection Agency:
